This band has really grown on me, especially the album Ceremonials. The production on it is phenomenal. But to be honest I mostly picked this up for the B-Side which is a remix of this Florence hit by The Weeknd.

Medicine - The Buried Life double LP repress

My favorite thing purchased this record store day. I saw it and instantly knew I had to grab it regardless of price. Probably THE best American Shoegaze record EVER. Look it up if you haven’t heard it. It makes me so happy to have it my collection.

Poison Idea - Pick Your King 7” EP reissue

I was actually at Coachella (don’t hate) on record store day, and lo and behold there was a whole row of these at the record store there. Of all places to buy a Poison Idea record. You punks should have been there.

You all should be spinning your Joy Division records tonight in remembrance of Mr. Ian Curtis (07/15/1956 - 05/18/1980). I know I will be.

D. Vassalotti - Say Hello To The Devil For Me cs

D.V. of Merchandise fame gives us a whole electronic tape. From slower ambient tracks to more IDM stuff. Excited to see where this guy goes next. Great stuff.

School Of Seven Bells - Ghostory LP

New full length from this band, named after a mythological pick-pocket training academy in South America. Good combination of electronic, indie, shoegaze and ambience on this album. Fans of M83, Bjork, or even Cocteau Twins may want to check out this one.

Wild Child - demo cs

really awesome new punk/hardcore out of Minnesota. Wild stuff indeed, be on the lookout for a 7” soon.

The Men - Open Your Heart LP

Highly anticipated third full length from this New York band. Different direction, but it is quite superb. Though I am still partial to the bands previous two albums, buy this if you can, good summertime album.

Natural Law - Slump 7” EP

I lose interest in current hardcore more and more each year it seems. But bands like this are still holding it up. They recently released a full length which is also great.

RazorxFade - Demo cs

I still think this is one of the few good current sxe bands along with Vaccine.
